TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL

September 6

Psalm 111:1
Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

In one church, we had things called "Say-sos." These were times for members of the church to stand up in front of the rest of the congregation to share their personal faith testimonies. The power of the stories of people's lives is immense. We are walking through this life together. Others share our experiences and pains and joys, but most of the time we are totally unaware of them. Proclaim your faith and the power of Jesus Christ in your life. Share your story. Praise the Lord with your whole heart in the assembly of the upright. You will find new unity through the grace of Jesus Christ.

Prayer:

Father, give me the courage to share my faith and proclaim Your transforming power in my life. Being to me others who have been touched by Your great love. Help me praise You every day. Amen.
